Kids take care of the main monastery located few meters away from this lake. We met the main caretaker of the place as well – a calm monk whose aura was so divine that fpr a moment world turned into a hazy blue fog and we were enchanted by our conversation with him under umbrellas with the music of rain in a dusky evening. The monstery was founded by Lama Rigdzin long ago who hadleft Tibet and had decided to make Sikkim his abode. With an array of colorful prayer flags, this monastery is situated on a small hilltop. The monastery follows one of the oldest sects, the Nyingmapa sect of Buddhism making this monastery a cultural place to visit.
